BLIRT offers services at every stage of protein creation, from gene synthesis to purification and formulation.

Our protein research department provides protein derivatives meeting criteria defined by you. Protocols are developed to allow for obtaining recombinant proteins on laboratory scale (up to 10l), with particular emphasis on the selection and optimization of biosynthesis, purification and formulation process conditions.

Optimisation of the biosynthesis process includes:
• obtaining the genes
• obtaining recombinant plasmids
• selection of production strains out of bacterial and yeast hosts
• selection of target gene expression conditions, according to the following features:
- process temperature
- time of production
- concentration of the inducer
- moment of induction
- composition of the medium

Optimisation of purification conditions includes:
• selection of conditions for cell lysis
• selection of a suitable chromatographic bed
• optimizing the composition of the mobile phase buffer solution

Depending on the adopted expression strategy Blirt offers single or multi-step purification of the final product.

Optimization of the formulation includes:
• selection of the buffer solution composition which guarantees protein stability
• performance of accelerated stability testing
